Penned by candlelight, this most quiet evening
Dearest Gentle Reader,
It is this author's distinct pleasure to inform you that two of our most beloved residents — having weathered many seasons of football matches at Beaver Stadium, salt-air strolls upon the Carolina shore, and a great many midnight toasts welcoming each New Year — have at last fixed upon a date for their nuptials.
The ceremony shall be held within the soaring vaults of The Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick, with the merriment continuing into the small hours at The Harrisburg Civic Club. A masquerade shall be permitted (though not required), and the season's most splendid autumn foliage is to serve as the natural décor.
