The marriage rite begins at seven o'clock in the evening at the Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick on State Street, celebrated by Father Joshua Brommer, and the Regency masquerade reception follows at half-past nine at the Harrisburg Civic Club on North Front Street.
Renea and Scott met in central Pennsylvania and built their courtship out of ordinary, well-kept days: football Saturdays at Beaver Stadium in State College, salt-air evenings along the Carolina shore, rambles through the Pennsylvania hills, and a great many New Year's toasts with their children beside them. They are marrying with those same children — Izayah, Joziyah, and Ellie, with Cohen standing as Best Man — as the heart of the company.
Their wedding weekend is a Regency-inspired autumn affair, printed and posted here as The Susquehanna Chronicle. It opens Friday evening with a bonfire and warm cider at their home, continues Saturday with the cathedral ceremony and a masquerade ball of small plates and dancing at the Civic Club until half-past two in the morning, and closes Sunday at one o'clock with a farewell brunch, again at home.
